Milk & Honey by Rupi Kaur is Amazing

IMG_2753Milk and Honey is a collection of poems divided into four parts, the hurting, the loving, the breaking, and the healing. Through these poems Kaur explores themes of love, abuse, femininity, and loss.

I devoured this book. It is so good, I don’t even think I have the words to describe it. It instantly became a favourite.

Kaur’s writings are honest, sometimes brutally so. They’re deep and emotional. I think everyone, especially women, will find something in this book that will speak to them. Whether it’s something brand new, or something you already knew but needed to be reminded of. There is something in Milk and Honey for everyone.

My Rating: 5/5

  1. Well this isn’t anything I’ve seen before! It has an unusual cover—and I know it goes against the whole “don’t judge a book by its cover”, but I can’t help it. It’s gained my attention just from that. Will be investigating this title further!
