Jacob and the other peculiar children journey to London seeking ymbrynes to help them and Miss Peregrine. Along the way they face multiple challenges and make a few new allies.
Hollow City is the second book in the Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series. This book sees the children faced with new troubles and we start to learn more about peculiardom. Like the first book, the pace is a bit slow, however it starts to pick during the last third of the book.
I really enjoyed learning more about the peculiars and getting to see Jacob develop his powers more. Hollow City starts to really bring the characters to life, giving them more depth.
I’m curious to see where the third and final book takes us.
My Rating: 3.5/5
